Website Remake

I decided to do a remake of an Ariana Grande website, I chose the colour scheme to be pink and black as she is a young pop artist and all of her merchandise follow the same scheme. As her most recent event was the 'One Love Manchester' I put this as the banner on the home page as she is also raising money for people affected. There is an automatic video which plays as someone goes onto the website which shows the One Love concert I did this by the tab on the left hand side which brought out different things to add to the page. I selected the youtube one and it directed me to a youtube video, it then allowed me to search my own and select the one I wanted on my website.

Just below the automatic video, I added a list of all Ariana Grande's upcoming shows/events as this is what her fans will want to know which when they click is hyperlinked to the 'Tours' page which is where all the important information about her concerts and meet and greets. I added this through the app ' Bandsintown' which was in the 'Music' tab as I typed in Ariana Grande it automatically put in her upcoming events and shows. This also allowed me to change the colours which I changed to pink.

Just below the list of the tours I added a slide of what she offers in her merchandise which is also hyperlinked to the shop page so then the viewer can see all there is to buy. 

The next page that I made was a music page this shows the viewer what Ariana grande offers as a singer. During my research of other artists they displayed their most recent album at the top which is what I decided to do, to make my website different I added a music video from that album just underneath. Then I added images of her albums which then hyperlink to how you purchase them on Spotify.

This is how you add a hyperlink onto Wix by copy and pasting the link so when the viewer is on the website they will be redirected to the album.

On the videos page I had an automatic live video of Ariana Grande singing. I think this is more effective than having loads of individual videos. This may encourage her fans to go and see her live.

The next page is a tour page which shows all her upcoming events and shows. I added this through the app 'bandsintown'. At the top of the page the banner is her most recent tour which is held now. This page also follows the same colour scheme as every other page as this makes it consistent, to ensure it was all the same shade which is used in Ariana Grande's merchandise I screenshot a small square of the colour and set this as the background for each of the pages.

On the last page it offered everything that Ariana Grande's sells in her merchandise including jumpers, t-shirts and albums. To make this page look more professional I added new arrival on some items and also allowed others to be on sale by putting a percentage off the price. 

This is how you decide on the item price, whether or not its on sale and when it arrived.
