Random Album Cover
In order to complete this task I had to use three different random generators which gave me the name of the album, the image, and the quote. These generators were on Wikipedia, Flickr and Quotations page. Once I had the contents of my front cover I then started to build it up starting with the measurements which were 4.75 x 4.75 when I had done this I placed the image onto the page, to ensure it didn't stretch I used 'shift' as if the image stretched it would look unprofessional and not like a album cover. After this, I added the name of my album which was 'Teodoro Escanila' I made this font big and in the middle of the cover so it stood out and looked realistic, then I added the quote in a similar font so that it matched the album covers name. This made my album look realistic and professional.
To finish my album I need to add the back which will contain the song names so the audience know what they are purchasing. To achieve this I carried out many steps.
Firstly, I added a background which had a similar look to the top of my front cover as in my research all the artists album covers followed the same colour scheme and looked similar on the front and back. After this I added an image that was on the front cover however I made it a layer with the effect 'darker' this made it faded and have a different look to the album I also rotated it.
To make the images look similar and follow the same colour scheme I then adjusted the contrast.
My next step was to add the song names on, I chose a font off 'dafont.com' which I thought would go well with the style of the album and the font on the front. I ensured that the fonts had an even amount of space in between make it look realistic and professional.
After this I then placed a barcode as this is on every album cover.
This was my final product.
