A problem we came across with creating the music video is the dancers we originally asked to do it cancelled which gave us a little amount of time to find a couple of dancers who would perform. The original idea was for there to be 5-6 dancers and it would look like a dance class that was throwing it back to the 80's however due to us not having enough dancers the idea has changed to having one dancer practising in a dance studio by herself with a mirror so you can see the dance mirrored.

To gather some ideas on my merchandise I looked through other artists merchandise and these are the ones which I really liked. On the first image I really liked the writing down the side of the arms which is what I intend to do on my jumpers. I liked the way the image is placed in the centre in a square. The fourth one, I like the bright neon colour and this is the same colour scheme I want my jumpers to be. I think the phone cases is a good idea as it gives the merch something different rather than just t-shirts and jumpers. Another thing I like about the phone cases is the cartoon style which I intend to do and even run through onto my digipak.

On the website there are 6 panels at the top which lead you to other pages, the first tab is the home page. The name of the artist is biggest on screen so that it stands out to the viewer. There are still many things to be done on the home page such as adding an image and inserting social media links so the fans can feel connected. The second tab is the photos page where images of the artist are displayed, by doing this the fans feel connected to the artist as they are seeing exclusive images.

We got some feedback for our digipak, these were; - Great use of colour and theme - Minimalistic design - Great photo and effect use - Suits the 80s theme with the bright colours and disco ball - Variety of different shots and angles - Disk needs to look more professional - Make sure the font matches This is the main points of feedback we gathered off the digipak. To improve the digipak we are going to alter a variety of things such as, someone mentioned it was a very minimalistic design so to improve this we are going to make the images into cartoons this will allow the digipak to be original where the fans will relate cartoons to the artist, we are going to keep the neon bright colour scheme too but we are going to exaggerate it so it stands out more. The font we will use is the font 'Madonna' which we downloaded from 'dafont.com' we are going to make this a font that is seen throughout all the products to make it recognisable to this music...
Social Media

During the research process I understood that social media links were an important aspect to the website so that fans felt like they could connect with the artist and follow them to see what they do during their day, it also allows them to be updated on upcoming events and shows. For my artist I made a Twitter, Instagram and Facebook account where I posted images of the artist and tweets which engaged with the fans and gave them updates on where she was at each ti me.
